Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Goal Smash collects, why, who it goes to, and how to delete it. Goal Smash is made by Creative Cowboys Media LLC ("we"). We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, name and username. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may give us a private relay email instead of your real one.
- Profile: age, sex, height, activity level, goal, and the calorie, protein, carb, fat and water targets you set.
- What you log: meals and food, water, workouts and sets, body weight, progress photos, goals, and your supplement and medication stack (what you take and when).
- Coach notes: short notes the coach keeps so it remembers you, like an injury, the equipment you have or foods you skip. You or the coach save them, and you can see, edit and delete them anytime in Profile.
- Crew chat: messages you post in a crew, plus reports and blocks you make.
- Apple Health (only if you connect it): steps, active calories, workouts and body weight, read from Apple Health to show in the app. We only read; we never write to Apple Health.
- Notifications (only if you allow them): a push address for your phone and your time zone, so crew chat messages reach you and stay quiet overnight. Supplement and workout reminders are set on your phone and don't leave it.
- App diagnostics: if the app crashes or hits an error, a report with the error, the screen you were on, the app version and your phone model.
- AI usage: how many coach answers, food estimates and programs you used this month, so we can show your allowance.
How we use it
To run the app for you: show your day, track your goal, build your plan, keep your crew's board, and answer your coach questions. We use diagnostics only to fix bugs.
Apple Health data
Health data from Apple Health is used only to show your movement and training in Goal Smash. It is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with anyone for marketing.
The AI coach
The coach, program builder and food estimates run on Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. Nothing goes to Anthropic until you allow it in the app. When you use them, we send Anthropic what the request needs: your message and your recent chat with the coach, your coach notes, your profile, your targets, today's food, recent workouts, weigh-ins and your stack. Food searches send only what you typed. Anthropic processes it to produce the answer and does not train its models on it. You can turn AI sharing off anytime in Profile. The coach is not medical advice.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run Goal Smash, and only what each needs:
- Supabase stores your account and data (United States).
- Anthropic powers the AI coach, only after you allow it.
- Vercel hosts the server that talks to the AI and food databases.
- USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts receive the food name you search for, nothing else.
- Resend sends your sign-in code emails.
- Apple handles Sign in with Apple, delivers notifications, and, if you subscribe, payments. We never see your card.
- RevenueCat checks whether your subscription is active. It gets your account ID and Apple's purchase record, not your name or email.
- Expo delivers app updates and, if you allow notifications, passes crew chat notifications (the sender's name and the message) to Apple to show on your phone.
Your crew sees your name, username, crew messages, and the workout counts and records the crew board shows. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting it
We keep your data while you have an account. Delete your account anytime in the app: Profile, then Delete account. That permanently removes your account and everything you logged, including photos and messages. Crash reports are kept up to 90 days. Email howdy@creativecowboys.co if you need help.
Security
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Database rules limit each person to their own data and their crews' shared data.
Age
Goal Smash is for people 16 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
You can see and edit most of your data in the app, get a copy on request, and delete it anytime. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have more rights; email us and we'll honor them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
